Paderborn - A fake emergency doctor was sentenced to three years in prison in Paderborn. The district court found the 33-year-old guilty on Monday, among other things, of forging documents. Since he had made venous access without the appropriate qualifications, he was also convicted of dangerous physical harm. However, none of the four patients was harmed.
In spring 2015, the Bochum resident worked for four days as doctor at the ambulance station in Delbrück in the Paderborn district before he was found out and arrested. He got hold of the responsible job via brokerage exchange. According to the indictment, he had submitted false license to practice medicine. The head doctor of the ambulance station eventually became suspicious and called the police.
At the beginning of the trial, the defendant made comprehensive confession, but gave himself up convinced that they have the necessary specialist knowledge. According to the conviction of the court, the convict acted out of desire for validity - and this has already happened again: In court he had admitted that he had previously worked as nurse for years without ever having completed any training. The Bochum public prosecutor is still investigating this activity. He had also been convicted several times for similar offenses.
