Hamburg - Hamburg is investing good 107 million euros in its hospitals this year, little less than in previous years. Health Senator Cornelia Prüfer-Storcks (SPD) said on Tuesday that modern hospital structures should ensure the best possible patient care.
This year the hospital investment program has two main focuses - the psychiatric day clinics and the operating theaters. In 2011, according to the health authority, the city of Hamburg made 117 million euros available, last year it was 113 million.
