Who is allowed to perform analgesia on children? The pediatric anesthesiologist or the pediatric intensive care physician (even without safety aspects?) Or the non-anesthesiologist (having obtained the safety aspects?).
I would like clear statement on this topic and not statement that can be interpreted at will.
If you would please tell me how non-anesthesiologist should have acquired level of competence comparable to that of an anesthesiologist (or pediatric anesthetist or pediatric intensive care physician) in dealing with specific side effects and complications, I would be grateful.
A statement on legal consequences would also be of great interest.
