The 50,000th donation was made on June 25th by student from Erkrath in North Rhine-Westphalia. They are for 54 year old blood cancer patient in the United States. "Everyone participate! I can only appeal to everyone, whether in Germany or anywhere else in the world, to register for bone marrow donation, "said the donor.
