Düsseldorf - The state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) has so far financially supported around 4,000 couples with medical fertility treatment. “A desire to have children should not fail because of money,” declared NRW Family Minister Joachim Stamp (FDP) yesterday.
The high demand for the funds shows how important the state's financial support for fertility treatments is for the couples concerned be. Since the start of the funding program at the end of August 2019, around 95 percent of 4,174 processed applications have been approved.
Support is therefore provided Married couples and unmarried couples with their main residence in North Rhine-Westphalia in the first four attempts at artificial insemination (IVF or ICSI treatment) carried out in North Rhine-Westphalia.
