Gießen / Marburg - 367 employees of the (UKGM) want to make use of their right of return and be taken back into the Hessian state service. The Ministry of Science has corresponding declarations from 217 UKGM employees from Gießen and 150 from Marburg, as the Ministry announced in Wiesbaden on Wednesday.
According to the information, the largest group of applicants comes from the administrative service with 115 employees , followed by the economic and utility service with 88 employees. Accordingly, 24 employees come from the care sector. The medical service is not affected because this professional group was not covered by the transition at the time.
If the requests are legitimate, the ministry says that the employees will be returned to the state service by July 1. The right of return was granted by the Federal Constitutional Court in 2011 to 4,622 employees as part of the privatization of the clinic and ended on December 31 of last year.
