Munich - Bavaria's Health Minister Melanie Huml (CSU) and Bavaria's Finance Minister Markus Söder (CSU) have released the funds for this. Overall, the state is supporting ongoing construction projects at Bavarian clinics in the current year with 334 million euros.
In addition to ongoing measures, due to the good financial situation, seven construction projects are to be brought forward, the financing of which will be up to two years earlier than originally planned can begin. "Funding totaling around 32 million euros is available for the additional seven projects," emphasized Health Minister Huml.
Every year the Free State invests around 500 million euros in national hospitals together with the municipalities. In the 2017 annual hospital construction program, total of 103 construction projects with total cost volume of around 1.8 billion euros are planned.
