Experienced festival-goers have cushions, woolen blankets and rain protection in their luggage.
From August 13th to 29th, festival visitors can look forward to colorful mix of opera, gala, choral works, musicals, operettas and shows through to drama in the Roman amphitheatres in Xanten.
To begin with, “Turandot” (Giacomo Puccini) will take the festival visitors to the festival on August 13th and 14th far eastern world. Who does not remember the inconspicuous Paul Potts, who achieved world fame overnight with the aria “Nessun Dorma” from “Turandot”?
