Berlin - Das (Zi) provides 250,000 euros for research projects as part of the annual funding initiative. The institute announced this yesterday.
On the one hand, it supports projects from the health sector that can be assigned to the subject blocks "Change in service utilization due to COVID-19", "Digital health applications" and "Reimbursement of services in the same sector" .
In addition, according to Zi, this year, for the first time, there is also the opportunity to apply for projects in an open-topic area .
These should be geared towards the further development of outpatient medical care in Germany and show clear potential for use in care practice, writes the institute.
Applications can be submitted until September 4, 2020. The submitted funding applications are evaluated by the scientific advisory board of the Zi and decision is made by the board of the Zi after final review and consultation. The announcement of the results is planned for the end of 2020.
