"It is important that we take away people's fear of being infected in practice and return to regular care, ”said KV board chairman Monika Schliffke.

The KV board chairman pointed out that the need for protective equipment was still high. "So far we can only cover the minimum requirements," she said.

In Rhineland-Palatinate, up to April 27, more than 600 contract doctors had followed the KV's call to look for COVIDs that had tested positive in special corona outpatient clinics or corona consultation hours 19 patients, suspected corona cases as well as people with symptoms of infection such as shortness of breath, dry cough and fever.
